Welp, evening one of actually posting blogs. I had an old blog on a site I made way back in the far off year of 2022 on Bandzoogle, but it got lost to the void as many things do. Richard lost media if you will that will probably stay lost as I do not intend to pay the $100+ to retrieve some old blogs and some song snippets.
WHY A BLOG?????
I talk a lot. That's why. I listen to music a lot, I think about music a lot, and I do a lot of things. Some days I might want to talk about music I'm making. Somedays I'll want to talk about something I've listened to. Somedays I might have so much on my mind that I segment my thoughts out like this.
I'm not the type to do a daily blog (especially because I think I can only do 150 of these on my current website plan), so the plan for now is to do a blog post weekly with everything I'm up to. I might mix these with vlogs in the future, but we get there when we get there.
SO WHAT IS THIS WEEK ABOUT?
If you're reading this on the date that it was posted, that means I JUST went live with this website. If you're reading this at a later time, hopefully I have blogs actually talking about cool things. I ended up posting a small handful of songs yesterday, two from an old version of my third idea for a project Dane Street Demo Tape. While I still think it could work given some time, I think for now the plan is to work on a smaller compilation tape called Danielle Ormilanda Vol. 1 before dedicating to the full concept album. I'm going to see if there's a way that I can include audio snippets for future blogs just so I can share behind the scenes. Yesterday Quarter Til' Golden Hour and Rose Petals should be released, and then I will follow up on that today by releasing the OST for my friend's college thesis Memorius [link pending].
But yeah, short and sweet one today. I don't have a cute little end thing yet but we'll get there when we get there.
